Anniversary Edition – A Look Back

Our newsletter is celebrating its 2nd anniversary 😊.

In this final issue of the year, let’s take a look back and summarize the key topics we focused on in the area of cloud solutions for enterprises over the past year. A lot has changed recently. Most notably, we’re approaching the end of support for traditional SAP ERP systems based on SAP NetWeaver. And even more impactful is the rise of a new technology—AI, which has entered the world of enterprise systems through the cloud and is set to transform it. But let’s start from the beginning.

In the past, our focus was on helping customers get the most out of their current systems. That’s why we built new solutions on top of traditional SAP ERP platforms—solutions for integration, automation, digitalization, and modern mobile access. But the world has changed dramatically, and we had to change too. The traditional technologies have been surpassed (support ends in 2027, or 2030 with extended support), and customers are now facing direct and indirect pressure to move to a new generation of systems.

That’s why our mission today is to help customers bridge this generational gap and build tomorrow’s technology today 💡. We now deliver all our solutions and services using the latest enterprise cloud technologies, even before the major SAP ERP system changes take full effect.

The reason? Current technologies have hit their ceiling, and further innovation can only happen through a major technological leap. That’s why we use SAP BTP as the recommended platform for extending and integrating the next-gen ERP system, S/4HANA. This approach enables our customers to adopt modern technologies immediately and stay agile, ready to adapt to whatever the future brings.

The generational shift in SAP ERP systems, particularly the move to S/4HANA, presents a unique opportunity to build a modern IS ready for ongoing development and innovation—as long as the Clean Core principle is maintained. Keeping core systems clean enables faster deployments and smoother change adoption. This is how you strike a balance between system flexibility and long-term stability.

That’s also why we’re moving all of our traditional enterprise solutions and services to the cloud ☁. This effort led to the formation of our new BTP.Team about a year ago, focused specifically on the latest cloud technologies for integration and automation within the SAP BTP platform. Since then, the team has grown steadily, and today most of our employees are already “cloud positive.”

For those ready to start migrating now, we offer recommended migration paths and services to help you transition from legacy systems to the most modern ones—including integration platforms.

☁ And this year, a new star was born in the SAP cloud world—SAP Business AI, which we quickly embraced. As we mentioned earlier, this technology aims to revolutionize the business world, and we definitely want to be part of it. That’s why we dedicated a significant portion of our newsletter to this technology, including how strongly it integrates with enterprise systems.

You can view these technological changes as a necessary complication, or alternatively, as a challenge and opportunity to evolve. But if you seize this chance and lay the right foundations and strategy for building your next-generation IS, you can be confident that your systems will support and simplify your work and business—now and in the future 😊.
